  1. If we could actually come up with something that blends TeX with HTML
  2. it would win us a *lot* of users who are ready to switch _today_ in
  3. order to get the advantages of online hypermedia.  Unfortunately, I
  4. think the complexity plus the corresponding workload involved in
  5. creating and supporting tools to actually use such a format are
  6. prohibitive in the near term.  (What's my point?  I'm not sure I have
  7. one...)
